...hair. (Couldn't fit the whole title)
From Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke. I'll pick a nice quote sometime. This is my favorite character though he's kind of tied with Childermass. I wanted to draw the box (the color of heartbreak) in his hands, but illness clobbered me and I had to abandon it. I could go back now that I'm better, but that's just not likely to happen. So for those who haven't read the book, he's an evil fairy dude who enchanted a lady and forced her to dance every night at his fairy mansion. Hence the silhouette there. Also I kind of wish this was in color so you could see his bright green coat. Again, not likely to happen. *** Sorry for not updating anything real in a while. I've been ill. I'm actually working on some pretty cool paintings right now that I'm excited to get done and show you guys. Then I'll finally get to work on commissions! Yay! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Building a better yesterday . . .
He is awesome, I love his hair, it is so cool. You did a wonderful job on his face too, that expressions is great and I really love the lips, there is such form to them and they look so perfect, especially the corners (I like the corner of mouths for some reason)His eyes look amazing too. I really love his clothing, it is so cool (ooh, I can just imagine the awesomeness of how it would be coloured, but I love it in black and white as well) Well done.
